 Dear Michael, Just a few lines to let you know how pleased I have been with the areas of the hull that were treated with Proguard last spring. Before the treatment, even 2 or 3 hours of steaming would result in unsightly exhaust marks on the side of the hull which were becoming more and more difficult to remove by washing alone. After the treatment and having covered nearly 6,000 miles during the summer season, the hull has always been easy to clean. In fact, after the most recent voyage of 5 days, there was only very light marking of the hull - wave action of doing the job of keeping the hull clean on the polished surface. Scheduled painting of the hull will take place this winter and I will require the same areas to be re-treated in order to continue enjoying the excellent results shown by this product. I have been extremely pleased with Proguard and I will not hesitate to recommend its use to others. Our topsides are dark green and take a hammering in the Mediterranean sun which after 4 years was forcing us to repaint due to fading. Nigel Skeggs  Like many boat captains, I had heard nothing but rave reports about Proguardplus and many coming from guys I know and respect. Having originally treated the boat in March 2004, it has now just had its annual service, and I can say without fear or favour that the product certainly lasts as long as it promises, even on Gelcoat. My boat is an 80 foot Ferretti, as such is a GRP finished boat. As all gelcoat finished boat owners know discoloration, fading and difficulty cleaning are inevitable. However the Proguardplus product has taken the finish, from numerous shades of gloss, to a perfect consistant shine and colour, that lsts well beyond a year at least. Since it was first treated the regular maintenance has been simple and quick. I would thoroughly recommend Proguardplus to any owner of a GRP finished boat. Gerard
