Proguard Plus was created in 2003, in partnership and with the assistance of Dow Corning, both parties agreed there was a need in the industry for a product to offer both protection, durability and a high gloss finish for both paint and gelcoat surfaces, so we decided to redesign one of their existing products to fit these specific requirements.
The result was PG2000. Within a short period of time this product started receiving endorsements from some of the leaders in the marine and aviation industry, such as Azimut/Benetti, Sunseeker, San Lorenzo, and Ferretti in the Marine sector, while receiving NTO’s from Boeing, Embraer, Dassault and Gulfstream in the aviation sector.

In this day and age, having a successful product is not enough. Competition is fierce and staying one step ahead of your competitors is the key to not only survival but also growth. Within two years, PG3000 was developed. A polymer sealant designed for optimum UV protection and longevity while maintaining a high level of gloss.
This continual determination and persistence of R&D eventually led us to our latest cutting edge technology ”Zytexx”, a Liquid ceramic protective clear coat (please see our Zytexx page).
Having spent years testing most existing compounds and preparation products for their performance, we knew there was yet another gap that needed to be filled. Thus, we created our own complete range of cutting and preparation compounds.
